What else is going on?
The Breakfast Club Age 3 - 17
The Breakfast Club is our fast-paced Sunday morning club for children.
Meeting at the Primary School between 9:30 and 10:30, there is something for everybody, including a separate stream for High School children. There are Bible stories, songs, quizzes, prizes and lots and lots of fun!
You’d be welcome to have a coffee and a cake when you collect your child, and stay on for our Family Service at 11:00. Stay on and find out what they’ve been learning about. It’s always a treat.
Our leaders and helpers are all enthusiastic and keen for those who come to have an enjoyable time. They’ve also received recent CRB certificates, provided references and had training on child protection matters.
The Drop-In Centre Age 14 +
We open-up The Church Centre in Silver Lane on some Friday evenings for teenagers who want a little space to chill out. Comes with tea and toast, or coffee and a chat. There’s no more to it than a listening ear and some wise advice. Come along between 8 - 10 PM-ish
The S.A.S Seniors Are Special Age 60 +
Our monthly homemade lunch for all senior citizens in the area. This is a great place to meet up with, or make new friends.
We meet at The Church Centre in Silver Lane at 12:30 on the third Thursday of the month (except July & August). We'll eat our meal together, sing a few of the good old hymns and hear a short message about the Christian faith.
We’ll be done by 2pm, and there are lifts available door-to-door if that will help.
Please call James or Martha on 01873 810610 if you’d like any information about any of the above.
