Christian Faith
The Christian message is good news, sometimes called the gospel. It is centred on God and his desire that we may know him. We don't need to guess what he is like or how he wants us to relate to him - he's told us in the Bible.
The Bible tells us that our problem is more serious and personal than we might imagine. We are personally responsible for offending God through our attitudes and actions. This is what is called sin - our greatest problem. He has sent his son, Jesus Christ, to show us what God is like and to come and rescue us. The way he did so is tied to his death and resurrection, where he died as a substitute instead of us, taking the punishment we deserve. God can and does change us, our thinking, our outlook and our eternal destiny, as we hear and respond to his message.
